ICED2015

Title: International Conference on Engineering Design 2015 (ICED 2015)

Period: July 27 (Mon) – 30 (Thu), 2015

Venue: Bovisa campus, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy.

ICED conferences are forums where the design community comes together to share knowledge, ideas and information. The conference series is the Design Society’s “flagship event”, occurring every two years and providing the most important meeting in design for researchers, designers and engineers, scientists and practitioners to stay abreast of changes in the field. The “E” in “ICED” indicates the engineering roots of the conference series. However, in more than 30 years ICED has gained a considerably broader scope, now providing a platform for design research and practice in all its forms – engineering, software, architectural, industrial, media design, representing the broadness of design in contemporary society. The very first ICED Conference was held in Rome, in 1981. It is with great pleasure that we invite colleagues and friends active in the fields of design research, education and practice, to come to Milan for the 20th edition of this leading conference. Through years, ICED conference has developed and implemented rigorous quality assurance of conference contributions. ICED proceedings are recognized by leading indexing bodies and papers are available on the Design Society web site.
